Accommodations and Amenities

CAMPERS & COACHES:  4:1 Mentoring ratio!

●      4 Campers for every 1 Coach for effective teaching, mentoring, and supervision

●      Campers have the option to choose their roommate during registration

●      Campers will receive a YLS Lacrosse Academy reversible jersey that must be worn at all times—dorms, cafeteria, classrooms, fields, green spaces, and all transit between.  Campers will also receive additional resources to hold keys.

●      Campers can bring and carry their own cash, or they can create a camp account for pizza and Camp Store purchases at check-in with cash only.

●      All campers will be monitored in dorms, at fields, in cafeteria, in classrooms, in green spaces and during each transition.  No camper is permitted to be in unsupervised areas at any time.  Campers that violate this will be asked to leave the camp permanently.

DORMS & SUITES:  College dorms with all of the comforts of home!

●      Air conditioned dorm rooms with personal beds, closet, and desk for each of 2 campers (bring own linens and pillows)

●      5 rooms per suite with a lounge room.  Each suite has a locked door for card scan entry, and each dorm room has a lock for key entry.  Dorm room doors must remain open during the daytime when occupied, and dorm rooms must remain unlocked during the night.

●      Coaches will stay overnight in one of the rooms of each suite to monitor the safety and timeliness of campers.

●      There are private showers, toilets, and sinks per suite

●      Each suite has a spacious lounge with a TV, refrigerator, and gaming system hookups in lounge (YLS and Campbell University are not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items including any phones and gaming systems that are brought to camp)

MEALS & CAMP STORE:  Plenty of delicious options . . . all you can eat!

●      Immediate access to a supervised cafeteria from the dorm with ample indoor seating.

●      Meal card will be provided to each overnight camper for 3 meals Saturday and 1 meal Sunday.  Commuters will receive a meal card for 2 meals (Lunch and Dinner) for Saturday only.  An optional pizza meal order will be placed on Friday after the evening session for campers who purchase it.  An additional pizza order can be made on Saturday night as organized by the YLS Lacrosse Academy directors.  Campers would need to provide their own payments to place this order.

●      Cafeteria with outstanding ‘all you can eat’ buffet style meals with stations for pizza, home cooked meals, salad bar, sandwiches, and grilled food.  Campers with alternate meal considerations and needs will meet privately with the head chef to arrange health and allergy accommodations.

●      A Camp Store will be on site each day to sell the hottest lacrosse equipment and apparel

FIELDS, CLASSROOMS, & AUDITORIUM TEACHING:  Fields like a putting green, and high tech auditorium for film breakdown!

●      Very short and direct supervised walk to fields from dorm
